Please note below from Royal Dornoch Championship.
Up to mid-March the courses move forward to winter tees. The Championship Course may also close one or two of the par 3 holes to rest them. Should there be frost or snow then the Championship Course will close but the Struie Course will be made available although winter greens may be used. Note that there are no winter greens on the Championship Course and so if the course is open then full greens will be in use. The Championship Course closes for three weeks from the second week of January each year. Preferred lies are in operation during this time and there may be areas of ground under repair as the courses are made ready for the following season.
